As a trainee or Qualified financial member of the ATPCA you and your ATPCA assistants will be automatically insured through our Insurance partner without any extra charge. You are covered for $20 Million Public Liability, Property Damage, Liability to Principal and Accident Cover. There are full details on this and a Certificate of Currency within (can be printed out).

Use your free member web page to present yourself to the wide internet community for extra customers. Your name (with your biography and services) has been given a boost by a much higher ranking position in web search engines thanks to its strong bond to the ATPCA domain. Your own free email address is a great promotional opportunity too.

Within here we have positions available from around the world (including Australia of course) - Councils, centres, resorts etc often respond to our invitation to offer tennis coaching jobs to our members. The number listed varies from time to time. Access to the full job details is an exclusive service for all ATPCA members.

Great deals are available for members on ATPCA approved tennis coach equipment. For example Junior rackets from $16, balls $1.31, coach trolleys, etc. Also there’s lanyards, caps, badges, car stickers, etc. Goods are delivered to you direct.

This business package is prepared to be available for members soon (if sufficient interest). It has operated very successfully over the last 25 years. With no capital outlay you have use of a specialized data base tailored for a new and established coach setting up and running centres. An inferior version elsewhere is thousands of dollars. There’s class management; lesson scheduling; extensions; grading awards; invoicing; receipting; attendances; wages; activity reports; etc.

Members may review some of ATPCA’s past Journals for interesting articles from various tennis specialists including highly regarded sports psychologists like Michael Fox and tennis biomechanical experts like Dr. Rod Cross. Also inside to simplify your search, you can click on an educational ITF site providing past issues of Coaching and Sports Science Review.

Should you have an assistant coaching with you regularly, the amount of training required for him/her to be ATPCA qualified may sometimes be considerably shortened since some competencies may already be evident. This is arranged through RCC (Recognition of Current Competencies) costing far less than a complete course.

There’s a Master Professional Level 3 course and a High Performance Level 3 course available with ATPCA. Rather than sign up elsewhere for a 2 or 3 year period costing around $6000, ATPCA L2 members can undertake one of these Competency Based courses over 5 days to obtain a Level 3 Qualification. The cost is considerably lower.

Besides the lowest annual fees in the industry, (about $100 less per year than our main competitor), members are rewarded for remaining ATPCA continuous by being credited bonuses. Furthermore, the junior membership (under 20 years old) is approx $200 less per year than elsewhere.

The ATPCA is non profit and totally independent and established for decades. Recognized by the Australian Sports Commission from 1999 to 2007 and by Tennis Australia from 2004 to 2007, courses are conducted Australia wide. Our main competitor has conducted coach training for just 2 years (and charges approx twice as much).
