Direct on-court training with practical drills and experience is considered the most beneficial way of becoming an accredited tennis coach. The new ATPCA Regional Subsidy Program - for prospective coaches living well outside our capital city courses - assists with their travel costs to attend a practical on-court course with other trainees.

This program provides all Australians as well as coaches from overseas with equal access to high quality face to face training with a high profile Presenter educator. No longer do Distance Education trainees need to study and learn entirely from DVDs.

The subsidy works whereby your course cost decreases in proportion to how far you need to travel to your selected city location. It effectively pays for your cost of air or car travel necessary to reach the course.

Conditions:

Applicants must live further than 100km from our closest course to become eligible
If at variance to the scale above (eg 600km by car) email us for the subsidy calculation
